Aircraft movements from space The videoclip lasts 1 min 12 sec and represents 24 hours, a whole day of all flights. Each second represents one duration of 20 minutes. Each yellow point is an airplane with at least 250 passengers. Most flights from the USA to Europe start in the night hours, returning flight during the day. Flugverkehr vom All aus betrachtet. Jeder gelbe Punkt ist ein Flugzeug mit mindestens 250 Passagieren. Die meisten Flüge von den USA nach Europa starten in den Nachtstunden, Rückflug am Tag.

   y tiene sentido porque cuando voy en aeropuerto, cada 15 minutos o menos, vienen un avion….

   It`s really amazing to see, how many flights are in Europe and The USA, but it`s also very sad to see, how big is the different about the rich Continents and the poor one like Africa.

   yeah.Europe and USA are crowded,but africa and southamerica is almost empty…i also like the ones down south.slowly one at the time

   Awesome video!!

   If you follow the dawn line, you see there’s a massive increase in outgoing traffic at around 6 am everywhere

   also, around midnight flights stop going out, so traffic starts to die down, and start up again as dawn comes up

   truly amazing!
